Solidarity in Schwarzau: flood victims receive urgently needed help

Five months after the devastating flood disaster in September 2024, Schwarzau in the mountains continues to be severely affected by the consequences. The clean -up work is in full swing, and many residents are fighting to get their lives under control again. The "Oberwasser" fish farming, which is owned by Philip Waldert and lost a third of its fish due to the flood. Despite the setbacks, Waldert receives support: A donation from the renowned Styrian corner in Vienna helped him pay the wages of his employees.

The situation is not only a challenge for Waldert. For the second time, the Kaplan couple are faced with the challenge of renovating their house after flood damage.
