Traffic chaos in Neunkirchen: Mayor presents solutions!

In Neunkirchen on fire, traffic has been causing resentment among the citizens for years. Close roads, narrow sidewalks and heavy goods traffic affect the quality of life and security of the residents. Mayor Martin Walz has asked himself the questions of the residents and showed possible solutions that show an urgent need for action to further develop the market town. During a recent presentation, Walz emphasized that the current streets and sidewalks are insufficient for modern traffic.

There is general agreement that the current traffic situation cannot stay in Neunkirchen. Walz appeals to respectful handling and a joint further development of Neunkirchen. In order to meet the challenges, the municipality examines three planning variants. These include:

  • Optimized old variant: revised planning of the old western bypass, walker and more compact.
  • Local variant: shorter and more area -more circumvention, closer to the place and considered promising.
  • zero variant: expansion and widening of Friedhofstraße, Erleinhofer Straße and Henkersteg to the state road, which would result in an increase in heavy goods traffic.

Walz also wants to move the state road from the inner area to improve the design options of the community. Another point of dispute is the desired Tempo 30 restriction on Forchheimer Straße, which has not yet been implemented due to the state road. Mis -led trucks regularly ensure dangerous situations, especially if they turn or get stuck in front of historical goals. A decision by the Free State of Bavaria for the detailed planning of one of the variants will be expected shortly.

new charging column for electromobility

The new charging station is equipped with two type2 sockets, each offering an output of 22 kilowatts. These two parking spaces are only intended for electric cars. Mayor Walz emphasizes the importance of charging options in public space, especially in connection with shops and the nearby bus stop. Rainer Gründel explained that the N-energy wants to expand the charging infrastructure to promote electromobility and climate protection.

The Ladenverbund+ is a cooperation of over 60 municipal city and municipal works in northern Bavaria, which strive for a comprehensive charging infrastructure for electric cars. Over 500 charging stations in the loading network+ are equipped with a uniform access system. The "Ladenverbund+" app has been able to activate the charging stations since July and is available free of charge in the Google Play Store and in the App Store.

e-mobilists who are powered by a municipal utility in the loading network+ receive discounts on the charging stations. For example, customers of the N-energy pay 32 cents per kilowatt hour after a one-time registration. Further information is on the website www.ladeverbundplus.de Available.

The current developments in Neunkirchen at the fire show the effort to increase the future -oriented mobility and the desire to increase the quality of life for all citizens.
