On September 12th and 13th, 2025, the Altenbergen Rock 'N' Revel Festival will take place in Marienmünster-Altenbergen. The event is carried out on the tent stage on the sports field and attracts visitors every year. With the comprehensive line-up of a total of twelve bands that represent the rock scene, the festival will again be a highlight for music lovers. [nw.de]

The first festival day, Friday, offers five bands, while seven more acts will appear on Saturday. One of the musical highlights is the Australian band Electric Mary, who plays its farewell tour and in the past with greats such as Alice Cooper and Whitesnake on the same stage. Another band, Bullet from Sweden, is known for her energetic heavy metal sound and has already published six studio albums. The Mönchengladbach band Motorjesus, the traditional heavy metal combined with rock ’n 'roll, will also be on stage.

tickets for the festival are available both online and as a hard ticket. The pre -sale is to be extended to further shops in the Höxter district towards the end of May. The ticket prices are as follows:

  • weekend ticket: 40 euros
  • day ticket for Saturday: 30 euros
  • day ticket for Friday: 20 euros
  • tent place ticket: 10 euros (only online)
According to estimates, around 1,300 visitors in Altenbergen are expected. New this year is the possibility to take out rain insurance that grants compensation of 50 to 300 euros per rainy day.
