End of an era: Stationery Jagers in Reimsbach closes after 72 years!

On the last day of 2024, the Jager stationery store, a popular starting point in Reimsbach, finally closed its doors. The business, which has been in operation since the mid -1950s, was founded by Waltraud Jager and has been an integral part of the municipality of Beckingen since October 1, 1952. In the past decades, the 80 square meter business has not only acted as a stationery shop, but also as a service center and meeting point for people from the area.

Birgit Polfer recently led the business and controls its final conclusion at a time when many traditional retailers are faced with major challenges. The location of the store directly on the main street in the middle of the village had contributed to the fact that it became an important part of the community.

Details on the post office

In addition to the closure of the stationery business, the post office in retail, which was also managed under the name stationery Jager, is operated by Birgit Polfer. This branch is located in Reimsbach, Beckingen, whereby the full address and possibly opening times are available on the website. The post office also offers the option of storing the address as a VCF file for digital address books and provides free route services for Beckingen. A map view shows the address and offers a route planner, while the "Bahn/Bus" function is the best public connection to the post office during opening hours, as the phone book reports.
