one of the big ones in the club scene

In addition to the "Flash",

Cassius also looked after the "Lindenau", a cocktail bar in St. Wendel, and was an active participant in the Loveparade. His passion for music was also shown in the founding of the "Mixery Castle". His participation in the music project "C.O.P. Project" from 1997 to 2002 was particularly remarkable, whose best -known single "Pornstar" made it up to 49th place on the German charts.

For decades, Cassius helped to revitalize "Kufa" in Saarbrücken, which has been an integral part of culture since 1993. His ambitions to revive the disco "Sound" in Dillingen were not successful, but his influence on the club scene remains undeniable. The news of his death triggered a wave of grief in the club scene of St. Wendel; Many remember the unforgettable nights and experiences they had in his clubs.

Cassius leaves his wife, three daughters and a son. His funeral service took place on March 6th in St. Wendel, surrounded by the people who were close to him. At a time when club culture goes through a constant evolution, Cassius' contribution remains a fixture in memory of a creative and passionate life.

Club culture has developed over decades, starting with the jazz cellars of the 1920s, towards the discos of the later decades that combined locals and international music trends. The scene co -designed by Cassius is an exciting example of the constant change and the influence of personal visions on the community that comes together in clubs. In recent years, a large number of new forms of events have developed and awareness of sustainability is becoming increasingly important. Nevertheless, the essence of clubs remains as cultural and social meeting points in which identities are shaped and communities formed.
