On February 12, 2025, the third Benvenuto Südwestcup of the SC 1910 Großrosseln e.V. took place in the Adolf Collet Hall in Überherrn. This event not only attracted over 2000 spectators, but also combined 47 teams and a total of 92 games were played. Around 400 young talents from different age groups, starting with the smallest players between the ages of 3 and 6, showed their footballing skills.

The atmosphere of the tournament was characterized by high -class youth football and a positive mood among parents, spectators and sponsors. The youngest were already impressed with their creative moves, while the F2 teams created their mood with their team spirit and committed duels. The E2 teams shone through technical finesse and cleverly coordinated combinations, while the F1 teams presented spectacular ball arts.

The tournament victory went to the organizing team of SC Großrosseln, which emerged through their achievements and the commitment of their players. The E1 teams also convinced at a high level, which further increased the enthusiasm of the audience.

Thanks not only to the players, but also important personalities who supported the event. These include regional association director Carolin Lehberger, the mayors Fred Schuler and Christian Frey as well as Michael Krewer, the 1st deputy of the municipality of Großrosseln. They all contributed to the positive charisma of the event.

Already on February 1 and 2, 2025, the third edition of the Benvenuto youth cup took place in the same hall. Here, too, G, F and E juniors took part, including the JSG Großrosseln-Ludweiler. The organizers express their thanks to the patrons and sponsors, without whose support such a tournament would not have been possible.

The main sponsor Benvenuto, who accompanied the event financially and logistically together with numerous other supporters, is particularly noteworthy.
