Ticket sales for Max Ophüls Price: How to secure your place!

On January 4, 2025, ticket sales for the renowned film festival Max Ophüls prize. The sale started at 10:00 a.m., both online and at several sales outlets in Saarbrücken and Bous. The ticket shop on the festival side was activated at the same time. The opening times of the sales outlets can also be found on the website ffmop.de/tickets.

The festival will take place this year from January 20 to 26, 2025. The opening ceremony is celebrated in the CineStar Saarbrücken with the film "Muxmäuschenchenstill X". The admission prices for this idea vary: 30 euros for the large hall 11 and 20 euros for the secondary halls 6 and 7. In addition, the opening performance is transferred to the "Mop uff de schnerr" cinemas at a price of 15 euros.

In Saarbrücken, the tickets are available in several places, including the European Gallery, the Filmhaus, the Passage Cinema and Rex Rotari in the Nauwieser district. The sales point in the Europa-Galerie will be open on January 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the artistic director Svenja Böttger and program manager Theresa Winkler will be on site. Vouchers and festival passes can be redeemed both online and on site.

Tickets cost 11 euros for normal visitors, reduced 7.50 euros and pupil cards 4 euros. In addition, admission to the award ceremony on January 26th is available at the Saarbrücken E-Werk at a price of 30 euros, whereby a bus shuttle and the film party are included. Entry to the film party without the award ceremony is 15 euros, including bus shuttle. However, the traditional “blue hour” does not take place this year, which is due to financial and personnel reasons, as the Saarbrücker Zeitung reported. Streaming tickets will also be available on the streaming page of the festival from January 4th.
