New shine for the riding hall: dressage festival in Saarlouis is approaching!

The riding hall on Metzerstrasse on the Wiesenhof in Saarlouis shines in new splendor after extensive renovation work. With an improved hall floor, an inviting gastronomy area at the entrance, flags of all nations and a polished grandstand with 800 seats, the location is ready for upcoming events. Particularly noteworthy is the 15th dressage festival, which is carried out by Reiterbund 64 Saarlouis from April 10th to 13th

The Reiterbund, founded in 1964 and with almost 400 members of one of the largest and most traditional riding clubs in Saarland, has earned an excellent reputation. Last year the association was recognized as the "Association of the Month". The upcoming festival promises an increase in international level and attracts participants from various German federal states and Luxembourg.

high expectations and prominent participants

This year's festival will be an important event in Southwest German, with participants from Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, Baden-Württemberg, North Rhine-Westphalia and Bavaria. A highlight will be the return of the previous year's winner Maurice Krüger, who steps on the stage of the great dressage area with his horse "Don’t do it" to retire in front of a full house.

Another prominent graduate is the Danish dressage rider Christine Skarsoe, who will take part in Luxembourg and will also take part in the event. The exams at the dressage festival extend from youngster to heavy classes, including the Grand Prix de Dressage (class S ***). In particular, the qualifications of the five and six-year-old young talent horses for the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf attract additional attention.

Culinary delights and club anniversary

The festival not only offers top sporting performance, but also regional culinary delights that are served to visitors during the event. In addition, the event in 2024 will set a special sign because the club celebrates its 60th anniversary. Four days full of dressage tests and a varied program are planned, which also deals with the Saarland Grand Prix.

For the anniversary, additional information about social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook will be provided to invite all interested parties to participate and to stir up with anticipation for the coming year. The events in 2024, which are organized by the Reiterbund 64 Saarlouis , are already highly regarded in advance.

The upcoming dressage festival is not only a big tournament for the best riders in Saarland, but also an important social event that brings together the riding community and regional culture.
