Art in January: New Year's exhibition in Blieskastel enthusiastic!

On January 12, 2025, a New Year's exhibition will open in Blieskastel, which presents the creative works of the two painters Rita Walle and Mia Sabine Groll. Under the common label "Miarita Artschestern", the artists show a wide range of art, which ranges from abstract to figurative, from colorful to monochrome acrylic paintings. This exhibition includes both new series and works from other creative phases.

Rita Walle runs its own studio on the old market road, bliss kastel, and leads a painting school for children and adults. Her work is strongly shaped by dealing with color -alienated landscapes. This special view enables her to interpret the connection between nature and color in a unique way. Her painting stands out through a lively design that lets the viewer immerse yourself in another world.

artistic approaches

In contrast, Mia Sabine Groll, who works as a lecturer for acrylic painting in mixed techniques at the Blieskastel from Artefix as a lecturer in mixed techniques, is known for her monochrome works of art. It prefers to use the racle to create dynamic, colored and abstract works that tell stories through their structure. Groll's work is characterized by an intensive examination of the color, which talks about emotional content and aesthetic effects.

The exhibition is aimed at all those interested in art and offers an invitation to discover the different approaches and creative forms of expression of the two artists. The variety of works shown reflects the development of their individual artistic manuscripts and shows how they work with various acrylic painting techniques.

acrylic painting and their techniques

acrylic painting originated in the United States in the 1940s and enjoyed great popularity in Europe in the 1960s. Artists began to use acrylic paint and industrial colors for their works, which opened new creative ways. One of the best -known art movements that emerged from this technique is Pop Art, with sizes such as Roy Liechtenstein and Andy Warhol.

The versatility of acrylic painting is shown in various techniques, including:

  • sand technology: Use of sand on the canvas to create three -dimensionality.
  • film view: Representation of emotions by colors and patterns that are achieved by cling film.
  • sponge technology: building elements are realized by ducking color with a sponge.
  • scratch: removal of color to produce interesting structures.
  • Dry Brush Technology: Use of a brush with a minimum amount of color on a dry surface.

The New Year's exhibition by Walle and Groll offers an excellent opportunity to experience the fascination and diversity of acrylic painting in the context of their individual artistic speeches. It combines tradition with contemporary ideas and invites you to explore the solo and community works of both artists.
