Progress for Bliesbruck-Reinheim: Projects for cultural park development!

The general meeting of the association "Vita Futura Bliesbruck-Reinheim" took place on March 13, 2025 in the European cultural park in Bliesbruck. The course for the further development of the park and the promotion of Franco-German cooperation were set. The founding members include Saarland, the Saarpfalz district, the Département de la Moselle as well as the municipalities Gersheim and Bliesbruck. The aim is to create a strong network that increases the attractiveness of the cultural park.

A central part of the plan is the project call to submit initiatives by universities, universities of applied sciences, municipalities and small businesses, which will start on September 1, 2024. There is the possibility of co-financing of up to 60% of the project costs for innovative ideas that promote Franco-German cooperation. Structural support from Interreg-Mitte

For the financial support of the association, an administrative project was presented that facilitates the management of the functional space. This structural area is promoted via the ERRE agents that enable projects to improve the large region. A focus is on compliance with the project requirements for EU Interreg funds that make cross-border cooperation mandatory. At least two partners must take part in financially to receive funding, the responsible bodies report.

The application is carried out via the online system JEMS, whereby relevant information must be entered in a donation application form. The selection committee, consisting of the board of the association "Vita Futura Bliesbruck-Reinheim" and two other members, will examine the submitted applications. One session took place on March 13th, others are planned for April 24 and July 10, 2025.

With the elaboration of priorities from the tourism study and the planned specialist groups, the association shows a clear strategy for the development of the European cultural park.
