Topics such as training occupations and professional perspectives play a central role in the event program. Students: Interior can find out more about the vocational training courses, which are presented, among other things, as part of the educational chains initiative. This initiative, which was founded in 2010, pursues the goal of supporting young people in starting the professional world and counteracting the shortage of skilled workers. This is done by individual accompaniment, which begins early on.

In addition, the Dr. Walter-Bruch School offers activities such as potential analyzes for the 7th grade and practice-oriented days in the 8th grade. The focus is on the talents and interests of the young people. The event also enables the students to benefit from the high competence of the teachers who are supported by digital plates in every room.

commitment to sustainable development

In addition to pure professional orientation, the Dr. Walter-Bruch School is also involved in social and global topics. Global learning in vocational training is promoted as a “first limitless school” in Saarland. The school is also a certified Fairtrade School in which sustainable development and fair trade practices are integrated in class.

For the physical well -being of the guests at the winter festival, those responsible for the school take care of the school. The event not only promises an opportunity for career orientation, but also the strengthening of the community within the school. Further information is available on the website of the Dr. Walter-Bruch School and on social media.

In the current initiative for career orientation, special programs are also offered, such as Girls’Day, which enables students to try out professions and discover their interests. In addition, there are a variety of digital tools that help young people to prepare for their professional future and to explore corresponding opportunities.

The Dr.-Walter-Bruch School thus relies on comprehensive advice and modern teaching methods in order to facilitate the transition from school to a successful professional career and to prepare them for the challenges of the labor market.
