Titanic in Munich: Experience the legendary demise up close!

A new, fascinating exhibition entitled "The Legend of Titanic" opened today in Munich. The immersive experience, which can be seen for the first time in Germany, follows the successful tour in Madrid, where 325,000 people attended the event. This exhibition promises to tell the famous fate of the most famous ship in history with an innovative approach that focuses on experience instead of dry history.

in the Paketposthalle, located on Arnulfstrasse 195-199, visitors can experience the tragedy of the ship from its departure to the sinking on large screens. The downfall of the Titanic is presented in a spectacular way, and a special attraction is the use of virtual reality glasses. These enable the participants to explore the seabed and to experience the ship in its original form before the catastrophe.

variety of experience and exhibits

The exhibition not only includes multimedia elements, but also shows originals from the Titanic itself and objects from the sister ship Olympic, such as dishes and passenger lists. In addition, props from the famous film “Titanic” by James Cameron can be seen. A reproduced version of the ship bug invites the guests to imitate an iconic film scene, which further deepens the experience.

Juan Cruz Ercoreca, the curator of the exhibition, has been enthusiastic about the history of Titanic since childhood and is largely responsible for the fact that visitors can now immerse themselves in this tragic history. The exhibition runs until August 31 and offers a period of about 90 minutes for the participants.
