City spokeswoman Sandra Diehl has informed the public about the situation. However, the owner of the affected building has assured that it will soon fix the problem. The ruins are now closely monitored, and a new report is requested every four months to ensure security.
The Trappengasse was completely closed last year from April to June because there was a threatening roof fall. After this phase, she was passable again from the beginning of June, but car traffic was still restricted. The owner plans to create four apartments and a commercial unit in the building, whereby the implementation of monument protection permits depends.
