On March 21, 2025, the football club Tura Dieringhausen announced the separation of head coach Stefano Losmargasso-Krüger and assistant coach Dirk Freidank. After the dissolution of this association in 1924, the football club DJK Victoria Dieringhausen was founded under Paul Wolf, which was dissolved in 1932 to join the gymnastics club again.

The final foundation of today's association, gymnastics and lawn sports Dieringhausen (Tura Dieringhausen) took place in 1933. The association's independence kept until the end of the Second World War before a merger with the gymnasts in 1947. From this point on, the association operated as a gymnastics and sports club 1888 e.V. Dieringhausen.

The club history is characterized by sporting success, starting with first place in the 2nd Gau class 1932/1933 up to several district championships in the 1950s and 1960s. In the recent past, especially in the 1980s, successful women's teams could also be increased.
