The city of Wachenheim an der Weinstraße is looking for a new sovereignty. This tradition is deeply rooted in the region and is related to the long wine -growing tradition, which goes back to Roman times. Wine sovereignty will be in office from June 2025 to June 2027 and has the task of representing the city and its wine culture. The official enthronement of the new wine sovereignty will take place on June 13, 2025 as part of the castle and wine festival.
