The prospects for young people in the craft are promising. Like Lokalplus , the craft offers numerous training and career opportunities. For students of the final classes who are looking for a training company in 2025, the “Check Das Handwerk” campaign takes place at the end of January. At this event, interested parties have the opportunity to collect important information and make contact with potential training companies.

The organizers of this initiative are the Chamber of Crafts South Westphalia, the Siegen Agency and the district of Olpe. Registrations are already running through the schools to ensure an optimal flow of information. It is particularly emphasized that parents and custodians act as an important partner in the transition from school to work. Therefore, you are cordially invited to take part in a "talk with the craft". This will take place online on Tuesday, January 14th, from 6 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.
