CSU Neustadt: Rolf Hilgart remains chair - departure for local elections!

On May 9, 2025, the CSU Neustadt started with a positive view of the preparation for election for the 2026 local elections. In an annual general meeting held in the spring of 2025, Rolf Hilgart was again elected chairman. This reflects the trust of the members and underlines the efforts of the CSU to promote stronger citizen participation.

Hilgart's re -election also emphasizes the success of the CSU in the past elections. In his speech, Hilgart emphasized the importance of a recently carried out citizens' survey, which provided valuable insights into the wishes of the Neustädter citizens. Group leader Thomas Hauer critically commented on the standstill in urban politics and called for an active participation in local politics.

continuity and impulses

The new elections in the CSU leadership show both continuity and the desire for new impulses. In addition to Hilgart, Armin Aichinger , Tanja Kippes and Walter Rustler were elected as a deputy. Other important positions were filled with Maria Färber as secretary, Michael Kippes as treasurer and Uli Kissler as a digital representative.

The active working groups of the Junge Union and Women Union reach the members of the CSU and bring their ideas to the political agenda. Also Landrat Andreas Meier expressed his support for the municipalities and emphasized the investments in the school hill as a sign for further development of Neustadt.

honors and commitment

In the simultaneous Eve of the CSU local association Neustadt/WN, Hans Simmerl , a long-time member, was honored for his 90th birthday. Simmerl has been involved in various honorary offices for almost 50 years, including in the church, the Kolping family and the fire brigade. The event honored a total of 1530 years of membership and provided a review of significant historical events from 1963 to 2015.

The jubilees received certificates and honorary needles in various categories from 10 to 60 years. The long -term members include Josef Arnold (40 years), Anton Korsche , Rainer Herzog , Ludwig Fritsch (50 years) as well as Max Wagner , gerd näger , Win> Winfried Kraus (60 years). After the honors, a sociable get -together took place.

Current challenges and outlook

The CSU plans to actively incorporate the results of the citizens' survey, in which topics such as road renovations, faster internet, barrier -free zones and leisure activities were addressed. A new proposal provides for the introduction of a "Neustadt app" to improve communication between citizens and the CSU.

In addition, a series of lectures on future topics is sought and the results of the survey are also to be made available to other parties. The chairman Rolf Hilgart was determined to strongly position the CSU Neustadt in the municipal elections in 2026 and to further advance the political work.
