Community clearing service in Hesse: War ammunition puts people in danger!

In 2024, a considerable amount of ammunition from the Second World War was discovered and recovered. In total, it was over 60 tons that were treated by the Hessian ordnance clearance service. This amount corresponds to the long -term average; In the previous year the number was even over 100 tons.

The types of ammunition found include infantry shot, grenades, mines and 17 bombs of different types.
