Israel in sight: escalate air strikes on Huthi militia in Yemen!
Israel's army has confirmed air strikes on targets in Yemen. These attacks were particularly directed against the infrastructure of the Huthi militia at Sanaa International Airport. In addition, several ports, including Hudaida and two power plants, were attacked. Israel accuses the Huthi militia to use civilian infrastructure for military purposes, especially in the context of arms smuggling from Iran. According to the Israeli armed forces, the attacks occurred on both the west coast and in the interior of Yemen.
The attacks cannot be checked independently. In the past, the Huthi militia has repeatedly attacked Israel with drones and rockets, which led to frequent rocket alarms in the Tel Aviv area. The Israeli air force boss already announced harder counterattacks in Yemen. The Huthi-Miliz is closely connected to Iran, similar to Hamas in the Gaza Strip and Hisbollah in Lebanon. Over the years, Israel has already intervened in Yemen, such as Radio Ennepe Ruhr reported.
US attacks on Huthi-Miliz
The Huthi militia had previously fired a rocket on Tel Aviv, in which 16 people were injured, according to the Israeli military. This group controls large parts of Yemen and receives support from Iran. In addition, the Huthi fighters have expressed their solidarity with the Hamas in the Gaza Strip. The Huthi militia regularly attacks destinations in Israel with drones and rockets. A rocket was fired on a school building in Israel two days ago. However, this could be intercepted by Israeli air defense, with the debris parts damaged the school building, such as Deutschlandfunk
