The event, which lasts from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., offers artists from Mettmann and the surrounding area the opportunity to present their creative work. This is not only done at the stands, but also in the form of workshops that the artists offer themselves, as reported.

The art mile is aimed at a wide audience and is accompanied by a colorful supporting program that includes gastronomy, music and other workshops. For the participating artists, areas of 3 × 3 meters or 3 × 6 meters are available, whereby the city provides rental pavilions. Alternatively, it is also possible to bring your own white pavilions.

Particularly interesting for visitors is that the shops open on the same day from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. as part of a open Sunday. However, participation in the art mile is not possible without preparations; The registration deadline for artists is March 7, 2025.
