The operators, Reshma and Marcel Ley, have achieved a lot in one year and associated the historical importance of the house with a modern orientation. The house in Kuckenberg, which was originally opened as a hotel in 1903, serves today as an attractive place for parties, celebrations and conferences.

The Leys took over the house on November 16, 2020. Before that, they worked for short -term rentals for real estate and now operate 60 -enhanced objects throughout Germany. The challenge of the renovation of the house during the pandemic and economic crisis did not prevent her from realizing her vision. The interior design, puristic and minimalist, was designed by Reshma Ley.

These events demonstrate the new concept of the house, which relies on targeted support for celebrations, conferences and other events. The house offers a total of 12 hotel rooms and 3 holiday apartments, which means that it represents attractive accommodation for holidaymakers and business customers. Thanks to a cooperation with the company Adient in Burscheid, guests from international countries such as China, Australia and the USA can also be welcomed. This diversity underlines the international orientation of the house.

The Leys endeavors to continue the tradition of a family -run hotel and combine the cosiness of the region with modern standards. Reshma Ley brings experiences from purchasing and sales, while Marcel Ley is responsible for finance and expansion. You have clear plans to position the house in Kuckenberg as one of the top addresses in the Bergisches Land.

Special attention is paid to the old chestnut in the courtyard, which not only represents a central element of the house, but is also part of the logo. Another aspect of the history of the house is that it used to serve as a train station. There are currently considerations to install a tram connection, which could further improve the accessibility of the house.

Marcel and Reshma Ley give the house in Kuckenberg their personal flair by emphasizing not only the economy, but also the family atmosphere. Your two children, Noah and Navya, grow up in this special environment and contribute to the living community of the house.
