New heating right: What changes do citizens need to know?
On February 11, 2025, an information event will take place in the Goldberghalle in Lingenfeld about the new building energy network (AG). The event, organized by the climate protection manager of the district of Germersheim, begins at 6.30 p.m. and is open to all citizens. The aim of the event is to give answers to central questions about switching to climate -friendly heating systems. Experienced energy experts from the consumer advice center will explain the innovations of the opponent and present them in various thematic blocks.
Since the beginning of 2023, new regulations of the opponent have applied, which place a strong focus on renewable energies. From January 1, 2024, new heaters must be based on at least 65 % on renewable energies. This marks a decisive step in the heat transition, which is part of the energy transition and aims to substitute fossil fuels and increase energy efficiency in the building sector. The heating industry is therefore at a turning point that will have far -reaching consequences for existing heating systems and their operators.
Focus of the information event
The following topics are the focus of the event:
- Future and affordable heating
- meaningfulness of the exchange of old heating
- Available heating systems, their costs and environmental friendliness
- Funding for the heating exchange
- Practical examples at the acquisition and long-term costs of various heating options
Participation in the event is free of charge, registration is recommended at p.riedel@kreis-germersheim.de, but not mandatory.
regulatory requirements and future views
The opposite stipulates that from 1 January 2030 all existing networks must be operated at least 30 % with heat from renewable energies or inevitable waste heat, with a further increase to 80 % by 2040. This requires a comprehensive change, not only from private households, but also from companies that use fossil fuels. State funding such as federal funding for efficient buildings - individual measures (BEG) could play a crucial role, in particular through grants and low -interest loans for cost reduction.
In addition, the opposite states that new heating networks have to meet a 65 %-ee quota from 2024. Real estate owners have the option of continuing to continue fossil heating systems until the district heating option is carried out, provided that there is a corresponding contract.
The comprehensive changes bring both challenges and opportunities. The heating industry must adapt to meet the requirements and at the same time significantly reduce the CO₂ emissions. Innovative technologies such as heat pumps, solar thermal systems and biomass heaters will gain in importance, while the attractiveness of oil and gas heating will decrease continuously.
In summary, it can be seen that the information event on February 11, 2025 offers a valuable opportunity to find out about the essential innovations of the opposite and its effects on the heating industry. The switch to renewable energies will not only be a legal obligation, but also a crucial step into a sustainable -oriented future.
