The EIDBOS, which was made new in 2021, goes back to a measure by the Worms city council around 1400, which forced the written fixation of legal texts for better administration. The entries in the Eidbuch go back to the 16th century and contain regulations and official records on disputes between the council and the clergy. The document was digitized in 2015 and developed in terms of content by Viktoria Köllner. A register, regeste and a selection of illustrations are now available as an electronic resource on the server of the Heidelberg University Library.
