SV Rinder celebrates new elections and jubilees at the annual general meeting!

On May 3, 2025, the annual general meeting of SV Rinders took place, which was characterized by new elections, reports and honors. Jens Rosmüller and his board team were confirmed in their offices for another two years. This takes into account the continuity and the commitment that has been done for the association in recent years. The members of the executive board include Eric Jansen as second chairman, Fabian Hildebrandt as second chairman, Markus Kock as treasurer, Niklas Lichtenberger as managing director and Michael Lehmkuhl as an old men chairman. New on the board is Tobias Tillmans, who takes on the role of the soccer chairman. These changes in personnel are part of a continuous further development of the association, and rp-online.de reflected.

The meeting also distinguished numerous jubilees. Fred Gennies, Robert Koch, Udo van Lier and Heinrich Selders were honored for 50 years of membership. Johanna Hector, Wilma Heeks, Hans Baumanns, Peter de Bruyn, Günther Neumann, Karl Schwers and Richard Müthel were awarded for 60 years of membership, while Rudi Lehmkuhl was honored posthumously because he had died before the meeting and he had been in the club for 65 years. The honors for 70 years of membership went to Helmut Rosmüller and Heinz Vink. Such long -standing memberships show the close connection between the members with the SV cattle.

Current developments in the association

The number of members of the SV cattle develop positively, which is reflected in a growing demand in various areas. In particular, the sections Bambini, youth, dance sport with the group "Happy Stripes" and mass sports, in particular functional training and Hula Hoop, record numerous registrations. This is in line with the general trends in Germany, where sports clubs, especially in the children's and youth area, report increasing number of members. A research by Deutschlandfunk shows that about 80 percent of German children and adolescents were eventually active in a sports club. This commitment is crucial to keep the young members in the club in the long term.

The sports performance of the association are also gratifying. The first football team plays well in the district league, while the second team is positioned in the upper midfield of the district league B. There are also efforts to report a third team in the coming season. These initiatives show the active use of the association to expand the sporting offers and offer the members a diverse program.

future prospects

Preparations for the 100th anniversary of the club in 2026 are already in full swing, which was also addressed in the reports of the meeting. Before this happens, however, it will be important to address the challenges of membership loyalty. According to the State Sports Association, this is particularly a challenge for young people, as they often turn away from the club sport. In order to increase the attractiveness of the association, targeted campaigns are necessary to obtain and bind new members.

Special thanks went to Eric Jansen for his commitment to investments, such as the outdoor power rack, which is made available to the members. The support of the members was a recurring topic of the meeting, and it is targeted to further expand this strength.

In summary, the annual general meeting of SV Rinders shows that the association not only looks back on a long tradition, but also invests in the future to promote a strong environment for sport and community.
