Free help for parents: Support in the Murau-Murtal region!

in the heart of Styria, especially in the Murau-Murtal region, there is a valuable offer that supports the expectant and freshly baked parents. The "Early Aids" of Youth at Styria's work offer an uncomplicated and, above all, free advice that extends over time from pregnancy to the third year of the child. Many parents have contacted this program over the past two years, because the first years of life of a child have many challenges.

As the team leader Katrin Kriter-Grossegger emphasizes, the life of the parents often changes dramatically through the birth of a child. The offers of early help aim to meet excessive demands, relationship conflicts and other difficulties in this sensitive phase. The parents are at the side of the parents who are not only anonymous and voluntarily ready at any time, but also enable low-threshold contact-be it via an online form, by email or telephone.

unbureaucratic support

The consultations take place flexibly in the office space, at the families at home or in neutral places. The majority of the parents estimate this individual care, which costs nothing and is independent of the number of appointments required. The exchange often creates a valuable basis for a successful growing up in the first years of life that are crucial for the development of children. The increase in inquiries has been striking since the start of the offer in 2023, which shows that the support is accepted by many parents.

The concept of early help is not new, but already plays a central role in many regions. Since 2012 there have been networks of early help in Hessian municipalities that support families in dealing with the challenges in this sensitive phase of life. In Germany too, the goal is to ensure healthy growing up for children and help parents in difficult situations. This close-meshed network of support offers promotes the relationship and educational competence of parents and ensures that they do not feel alone.

financing and collaborations

The program is financed by the federal and state governments as well as health and pension insurance providers. The implementation takes place by Lebens -sized on behalf of the Austrian Health Insurance Fund. Cooperation with pediatricians, midwives and other health facilities in the region ensures that the support is well coordinated and arrives directly with the families concerned.

In a broader framework, it can be said that the "early help" in Styria are part of a Germany -wide concept in which millions of euros are provided annually for the promotion of such networks. The aim is to achieve risk groups in particular and create a healthy environment for children. For example, it is informed about educational measures on the subject of shaking trauma what is part of the municipal offers of early help

Overall, we can only recommend everyone to use this great offer "early help". It not only helps parents in difficult times, but also helps to create a stable and loving family environment in which children can grow up healthy. With the upcoming World Eltern Day on June 1st, the importance of parenting and support for young families will continue to come into focus.
